Paint Protection Film

PPF is the acronym for Paint Protection Film. This film is a transparent, thin, yet durable film meant to protect/minimize your paint from chips, road rash and other contaminants that may damage your paint.

We use XPEL and SunTek paint protection films for all protection installations. We also offer STEK fashion films for their colored PPF and unique Carbon Fiber films.

Yes. The manufacturers we’ve partnered with offer film which will retain the factory finish of your satin/matte paint. Keep in mind that satin paints cannot be buffed or polished like traditional gloss paints and can be very difficult to paint match, lending more reason to protect your paint with matte/satin Paint Protection Films.

Yes. The film will self heal light swirls and scratches with exposure to heat but does have its limitations and is not meant to be impenetrable. The topmost layer of the film is approximately 13 microns in thickness and is the self-healing layer. If that layer is penetrated, the film will not heal.

Yes. We typically plot our templates using proprietary design software to customize and modify patterns to reduce and extend seams/reliefs to meet each project's requirements.

While it is recommended, most daily driven vehicles benefit from just protecting the front bumper, hood, up to the fenders and mirrors. The benefit of PPF is that it’s virtually transparent, meaning you can apply it on some panels without noticing it’s there.

Proper care and maintenance of the PPF will minimize any likelihood of yellowing or fading during the PPF manufacturers limited warranty period. — contact us to learn more.

The different products serve different purposes: PPF protects from impacts while ceramic coatings add substantial depth and gloss to a paint’s surface when maintained properly.

We strongly advise against automatic brush car washes as they can lift film edges.. We recommend that the vehicle does not get washed for the first two weeks following installation.

Glass cannot be PPF’d safely due to distortion issues. We do offer windshield protection film — contact us for details.

We do not apply PPF to wheels or unpainted plastics however, we can apply ceramic coatings to wheels and unpainted plastics.

Highly unlikely; in most cases, it will not harm OEM paint.

Ceramic Coatings

After extensive research and testing, we only install coatings which are considered to be the most advanced coatings on the market.

It is highly recommended as even new vehicles may have imperfections, and correction improves bonding of the ceramic coating to the surface of the paint.

Ceramic coatings can provide an additional hydrophobic layer over the surface to increase resistance to chemicals.

No — it is hard and scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof.

No; ceramic coatings will not absorb the energy of impacts that lead to rock chips or road rash.

Your choice depends on protection priority — ceramic excels in surface durability, PPF excels in impact protection.

No — ceramic coatings are available for automotive glass, plastics, leather, wheels and brakes.

No — the coatings we apply are intended for professional use only.

Coatings resist etching but can still stain; proper maintenance is required.

Yes — coatings can be applied over PPF or vinyl.

Highly Discouraged — chemicals in car washes can dramatically reduce coating life.

Paint Refinement

Paint Correction is the process of machine polishing to reduce light scratches or swirl marks and imperfections in paint.

The answer is typically NO, unless you find imperfections that are unacceptable to you.

A physical assessment of the vehicle with a consultation is required in discovering your options and project details. Otherwise, an estimate is simply a SIGHT UNSEEN ESTIMATE.

No; it refines surface paint only. Dings and dents require separate body services.

Yes. Water spots can often be reduced with proper techniques.

Contact us for guidance. Typically, if a scratch can be caught by your finger nail, or you see a variance in the color of the damaged area, it’s often too far gone.
